Critic files new lawsuit against Mohegan Tribe

A former casino investigator has filed another lawsuit against the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut for allegedly being silenced about the tribe's gaming practices.

Bradley W. Beecher says the tribe didn't want him to go public while it completed the purchase of a race track in Pennsylvania. He made a similar claim in a lawsuit late last year but he dropped it after the tribe obtained a court order that still allowed him to talk about the casino.

Beecher has since spoken to the Citizens Equal Rights Alliance, a group critical of federal Indian policy and tribal sovereignty, The New London Day reported.
