Oklahoma's gaming tribes give nearly $1M to state

Oklahoma tribes have given the state nearly $1 million under new Class III gaming compacts that require revenue sharing.

In the last three months alone, Oklahoma tribes gave more than $850,000 to the state. The money comes from card games that were authorized by the compacts.

Still unrealized are revenues from certain electronic gaming machines also legalized by the compact. The state eventually expects about $70 to $100 million a year from the tribes.
