Two Temecula City Council members said the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians hasn't responded to their concerns about the relocation of the tribe's casino.
The tribe has an existing casino on its reservation but wants to relocate to a 128-acre parcel in the Hemet area. The tribe is receiving the land as part of a water rights settlement.
Temecula is home to the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. The tribe has come out against "reservation shopping" or attempts to place casinos in non-reservation areas.
