Officials in Garden Grove, about 1 mile from Disneyland, are proposing to host a tribal casino.
City officials met with the Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians last year about the idea. But it quickly ran into opposition. Some city council members also met with Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn.
The city council is set to discuss the proposal at a meeting next Tuesday. Two members say they support a casino, two are opposed and the mayor says he is open minded.
