People waited up to two hours to get inside the Bear River Band's new casino. Inside, they saw long lines to play games, eat and drink, The Eureka Reporter said.
The tribe, also known as the Rohnerville Rancheria, said they didn't expect such a large turnout for the Bear River Casino. The opening caused traffic problems, leading to complaints from some local residents.
The casino sells alcohol, is open 24 hours a day. A petition is being circulated to oppose the tribe's state liquor license.
