The city council in Barstow, California, voted 3-2 on Wednesday to negotiate two more casino deals.
The city previously approved a municipal service agreement with the Los Coyotes Band of Mission Indians. The tribe is based hundreds of miles away in southern California.
Now, two more off-reservation deals are on the way with the Chemehuevi Tribe and the Big Lagoon Rancheria. Both tribes are based hundreds of miles away.
