The Chippewa Cree Tribe plans to build a 30,000-square-foot gaming complex and hotel on the Rocky Boy's Reservation in Montana.
Construction on the $18 million to $20 million facility will occur in two phases.
The first phase, which includes gaming space, a hotel and other amenities, could be completed as early as January 2006. The second phase, to include a truck plaza, fuel center and convenience center, would be completed by the summer of 2006 if the project is considered feasible.
The casino is being financed by a loan. NORAM, a Florida-based gaming developer, is assuming responsibility for the loan while it is paid off by the tribe.
