The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold another oversight hearing on the regulation of Indian gaming on Tuesday, June 28.
Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) has promised a series of hearings into the $18.5 billion tribal casino industry. The first one was held on April 27, when tribal leaders urged caution in amending the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act
and others criticized the land-into-trust process.
The witness list for the upcoming hearing has not been made public yet.
