Louisiana attorney general Charles Foti expects the Jena Band of Choctaw Indians to file a second lawsuit over the state's refusal to negotiate a Class III gaming compact.
The tribe has already filed a lawsuit in state court, seeking damages for the money a Class III casino would have generated. Foti said the tribe will file the second lawsuit in federal court.
The tribe was recognized in 1994 and wants to open a casino on its initial reservation.
