The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Washington broke ground on a $20 million casino expansion project on Thursday.
The tribe will create 100 jobs, in addition to the 250 currently employed, once the new Northern Lights Casino is opened. Construction of the facility will create 150 jobs.
The tribe's $240 million expansion of its urban casino in Milwaukee is on hold due to legal challenges to Indian gaming and gaming compacts.
