NOTE: The House hearing has finally started after a one-hour delay. "I guess we are on Indian time today," said Rep. Richard Pombo (R-California), the commitee chairman.

Committee and the House Resources
Committee are holding separate hearings on gaming today.
The Senate hearing starts at 9:30am. The committee will hear from federal officials, tribal representatives and two law school professors as they discuss the regulation of Indian gaming. [Witness List | Live Video].
The House hearing starts at 10am. The committee will hear from members of Congress, tribal leaders and gaming representatives to discuss tribes seeking casinos across state lines.
