The Los Coyotes Band of Mission Indians has chosen a new partner in its bid to open a casino in Barstow, California.
The tribe is working with Jerry Argovitz, owner of the Texas-based Tribal Casinos Development. Argovitz has worked in real estate and as an agent for professional football players.
The tribe was previously working with BarWest of Michigan. That company is now said to be involved with the Big Lagoon Rancheria.
