The Sac and Fox Nation and the state of Kansas are disputing whether the state can inspect slot machines at the tribe's casino.
The tribe's gaming commission has restricted state access to casino games and casino records. So state inspectors haven't determined whether the machines are operating in compliance with the tribal-state compact.
The tribe and the state have been trying to negotiate the dispute but are headed towards arbitration because they can't agree on how inspections would be conducted.
