The Blackfeet Nation of Montana has secured a $3.5 million loan to build a casino.
The 22,000-square-foot facility, to be located in Browning, is expected to create at least 40 new jobs. The tribe hopes to attract tourists who travel across the reservation to get to the Glacier National Park. The tribe operated a small casino near the park on a trial basis and was encouraged by the results.
The loan was advanced by the Native American Bank.
