Navajo Nation council to hold gaming session

The Navajo Nation council is holding a working session today and tomorrow to focus on gaming.

Representatives of the National Indian Gaming Commission, including Chairman Phil Hogen, and the Arizona Indian Gaming Association are scheduled to present. Navajo lawmakers say they want to learn more about gaming.

The Navajo Nation has allowed gaming in a satellite community near Albuquerque, New Mexico. Voters this month approved a referendum that would expand gaming to other parts of the three-state reservation.
