South Florida gaming measure too close to call

A Florida ballot measure that would have paved the way for slot machines in two counties was up in the air as of Tuesday.

Amendment 4 would allow Miami-Dade and Broward counties to hold elections to legalize slot machines at racetracks. Results were too close to call.

The Seminole Tribe actively campaign against the measure even though some suggested passage could authorize Class III gaming.
