Tribe's New Ad: 'I guess it's OK to rip off Indians'

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is running a new television featuring former Minnesota governor Jesse "The Body" Ventura.

In the ad, Ventura criticizes Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) for comments he made about the "Indians are ripping us off." Ventura says in response: "He demands tribal governments pay three times more than other businesses. That's not fair. I guess it's OK to rip off Indians."

The tribe is running the ad to support Proposition 70, a gaming initiative supported by most tribes, although it is not mentioned by name. The ad may run beyond the November 2 election.
