Saskatchewan approves sixth First Nation casino

The premier of Saskatchewan approved the province's sixth First Nation casino on Wednesday.

The casino, to be run by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, will largely be funded by the File Hills First Nation. It will be located off the reserve in the city of Swift Current.

Saskatchewan has four First Nation casinos in operation. A fifth was approved this year near the city of Saskatoon but on reserve land.
