Column: Tribe uses poll to attack another tribe

"Forest County Potawatomi leaders made it official Tuesday when they announced that the northern Wisconsin tribe would be opposing the Menominee tribe's campaign to open a competing casino.

It's about time they came out of the closet.

The casino-rich Potawatomi had quietly footed the bill for at least one push poll taken in Kenosha last month.

And, oh, what a poll it was. When was the last time somebody asked you if your vote on a referendum would be influenced if you knew the project was being bankrolled by a guy with ties to organized crime?"
