Pueblo wants casino, racing at old horsetrack

Pojoaque Pueblo in New Mexico is hoping to start up a casino and horse racing at an old racetrack but neighbors have questions.

Plans call for multiple uses for the 321-acre property, which hasn't been used as a track since 1997. The tribe would need approval from the state to offer slot machines and races.

Residents are concerned about traffic, noise and a huge pile of manure the tribe has promised to remove. The tribe has been told to remove it by December 2005 but residents say the tribe has moved too slowly.
