Nambe Pueblo to hold referendum on casino

Members of Nambe Pueblo in northern New Mexico will vote on whether to develop a casino.

The tribe has been studying a casino for several years. Gov. Tom Talache supports it but some tribal members don't.

The tribe has a compact with the state but agreed not to open a casino as part of a land exchange with Pojoaque Pueblo. The two tribes are located next to each other.
