California casinos creating thousands of jobs

California tribes expanding their casinos will create more than 3,000 jobs in the coming months.

The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians will add 1,700 employees by November. With a total of 5,000 jobs, the tribe will be Riverside County's second largest private employer.

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is planning to hire 1,000 people by the end of the year. The tribe has scheduled a series of job fairs this month and the next.

Also hiring several hundred employees each are the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians.
