Cayuga Nation ready to open video gaming hall

The Cayuga Nation of New York plans to open a Class II video gaming hall at the end of the month, The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports.

The tribe is converting an old auto parts store in the village of Union Springs. A federal judge said the land is Indian Country but the decision is on appeal.

The tribe expects to make $5 to $6 million from 90 video lottery terminals at the facility.
