Slot machine revenues at Connecticut's two tribal casinos grew by more than 5 percent in April.
The Mohegan Tribe reported a 10 percent rise in revenue compared to April 2003. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation saw a 1 percent growth over April 2003. Together, the tribes saw almost $135 million in profit.
The tribes contribute 25 percent of slot revenues to the state. The state's share last month came to $33.6 million.
