More Washington tribes joining fight against initiative

The Tulalip Tribes and the Stillaguamish Tribe are joining the battle against a ballot initiative to expand non-Indian gaming in Washington.

Initiative 892 would allow card clubs and certain other businesses to offer slot machines. Tribes say it would lead to an unwarranted expansion of gaming.

The Muckleshoot Tribe provided $50,000 in startup funds for the effort.
