No gaming revenues in Minn. governor's new budget

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) released a new budget on Thursday that didn't include revenues from the state's gaming tribes.

But Pawlenty said he continues to meet with tribal leaders to discuss renegotiating compacts in order to get a "better deal for Minnesotans." He believes the deals could be reworked to send more money to the state.

Tribal leaders, however, are opposing the proposal. They say it is unfair to target the casinos, which have generated thousand of jobs.
