Citing too many delays, a judge in Oklahoma dismissed criminal charges against six people involved with the Apache Tribe's illegal casino.
The tribe opened the facility on land in southeast Oklahoma City. State officials raided and shut down the facility because it was not Indian land.
Six people, including attorney Charles A. Shadid, were charged in November 2002 but never went to trial. Shadid was accused of being the mastermind behind the casino.
