The state of Wyoming will ask the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals to reconsider a ruling favoring the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
On November 23, the court issued a unanimous decision that said the state has to negotiate a compact for all forms of Class III gaming, including slot machines. The tribe has sought a compact for several years and is building a new, larger gaming facility.
The state has refused to negotiate and was found to be in bad faith by the 10th Circuit.
