The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut reached a deal with a former employee who threatened to go public with information about the tribe's casino operation.
Brad Beecher, a former state police lieutenant, is allowed to talk about his general experiences with the tribe and his views on the regulation of the casino. But he can't disclose privileged information to the public.
After being fired, Beecher demanded the tribe pay him at least $1 million after taxes or else he would go public.
