The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is running another television ad attacking California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's stance on Indian gaming.
The ad says casinos have helped the tribe become self-sufficient. But Schwarzenegger (R) wants "tribal governments [to] pay three times more taxes than any other business," the ad says.
Last month, the tribe ran an ad featuring former Minnesota governor and former wrestling star Jesse Ventura. "Didn't the governor promise a balanced budget without raising taxes?" Ventura said in the ad. "I guess it's OK to rip off Indians."
