The Puyallup Tribe of Washington will be able to relocate its riverboat casino to dry land under changes to its tribal-state compact.
The tribe is moving the casino to the site of a former hotel. The tribe is awaiting approval to have the land placed in trust.
The relocation will allow the Port of Tacoma to expand and create thousands of jobs.
