The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut reported a 10.7 percent increase in its casino earnings over the past year.
The casino saw more than $1.1 billion in revenues, with slot machines accounting for $833 million and table games accounting for $306.4 million. Of this amount, the tribe reported earnings of $344.1 million.
The tribe credited the increase with better labor management, the tribe's WNBA team and other big events. The tribe foresees a positive future with the financing of gaming facilities in other states.
