Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D) said on Monday that she is open to discussions for another urban casino in the state.
Sebelius signed a compact with two tribes for a casino outside Kansas City. She said widespread community support was a factor in her decision.
The Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska has at least 62 percent support for a casino in Park City, according to a new poll. The tribe has an agreement with the city to move forward with the idea.
