"The Indian casino phenomenon has flourished because both the tribes and state governments were hungry for revenue.
It started with a few tribes running bingo games.
It is now such an industry that the National Indian Gaming Association and the Conrad Hilton College of the University of Houston run a joint seminar program in gaming management.
They may soon want to twin it with the political science department, which the tribes could heavily endow."
