Arizona's 22 tribes with casinos reported $1.35 billion in revenues during the last fiscal year.
The tribes signed new compacts allowing more casino games in exchange for sharing revenue with the state. The tribes contributed nearly $38 million for regulation, problem gambler programs, education, hospital services, conservation and tourism and $2.6 million to local governments.
That number will rise to $61 million for the current fiscal year, according to the state Department of Gaming.
