Several Washington tribes are expanding their casino facilities with multi-million dollar projects.
The Confederated Chehalis Tribes are in the middle of building a hotel that will cost $6.5 million to $7 million. The casino itself saw the addition of a $6 million expansion in 2002.
The Nisqually Tribe is expanding as well. The $31 million project will add gaming space and a garage to the casino.
The Squaxin Island Tribe and the Puyallup Tribe each opened hotels at their casinos. The Puyallup Tribe is also replacing its riverboat casino.
