Well, maybe not, if you listen to state officials and Twins representatives who say they have other funding priorities or worry about the link between gambling and pro sports.
But it would be a mistake to reject this unexpected offer out of hand. Let's hear the band's representatives out. Every dollar that the band kicks in is potentially one less that comes from taxpayers' pockets."
