The Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians and the city of Garden Grove are in talks to open a casino near Disneyland.
The tribe would partner with Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn to build a large resort on 45 acres. Some city officials who support the idea say it will bring in much needed revenue to the area.
But the mayor is opposed to a casino.
The project would include a theme park, hotels restaurants, shopping, music venues and other amenities in a bid to create a Las Vegas atmosphere in southern California.
