California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) will sign a compact with the Lytton Band of Pomo Indians for a large urban casino in the Bay Area, The Los Angeles Times reports.
In exchange for approval, the tribe will pay up to 25 percent of net profits to the state. The tribe has already agreed to pay local communities millions.
Schwarzenegger will sign compacts with other tribes, The Times said. An announcement is expected later this week.
