Neighbors Against the Parkway Casino has set up a website www.StopParkwayCasino.com to fight a landless tribe's proposal to build a casino in the Bay Area.
The Scotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians is looking at land in North Richmond. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is preparing an environmental impact statement on the project.
The Lytton Band of Pomo Indians operates a Class II facility in nearby San Pablo. Another tribe, so far unnamed in press accounts, is seeking to build in Richmond.
