Two Kansas tribes are reportedly near a deal with the state for an urban casino in Wyandotte County.
The Kickapoo Tribe and the Sac and Fox Tribe have been in negotiations since February. They plan to build a $210 million facility on 80 acres near the Kansas Speedway.
In exchange for state approval, the tribes will share a portion of their revenues with the state. A compact could be ready by early September.
