The Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming broke ground on a $10.3 million casino on the Wind River Reservation.
The 30,000-square-foot casino will overlook the Little Wind River. It is expected to open by September 2005. A hotel may be added later.
The tribe has won a court ruling favoring certain Class III games. The Interior Department is deciding which can be offered because the state refused to negotiate a compact.
