The Sac and Fox Nation of Oklahoma is having a 'soft' opening of its new gaming center today, The Shawnee News-Star reports.
Principal Chief Kay Rhoads says the facility will generate $290,000 in revenues per month. The money will be used to expand a college scholarship program, eyeglass and dental care for elders, emergency housing and emergency assistance for utilities.
A grand opening for the casino is expected in about two weeks.
