The Morongo Band of Mission Indians of California hopes a lavish party in New York will introduce the East Coast to its brand new $250 million casino resort.
The unique event will bring the casino experience to New York-based media. A 20,000-square-foot studio will be turned into a mini-version of the resort, complete with massages, fake slot machines, and high-end food.
The resort is still being constructed. The tribe projects it will have a $2.8 billion impact on the local economy in five years.
