Today is the big day for Seminole Tribe of Florida. The tribe is opening a $279 million Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, an event expected to draw 1,500 people to Hollywood.
The facility 500 rooms, 4,000 video gaming machines, poker tables and several restaurants. It is expected to draw 12,000 to 18,000 visitors on weekdays and 25,000 to 30,000 on weekends.
In March, the tribe opened a $167 million Hard Rock casino in Tampa. The facility is drawing 20,000 people on weekends, according to the tribe.
