The Alaska Native village of Barrow has agreed to seek a state permit for its pull-tab operation.
The tribe disputes the state's jurisdiction over the operation. But the tribe has no money to challenge the state in court.
The state raided the operation and shut it down last June. The tribe contend the action violated its sovereignty.
