The Yavapai Apache Nation of Arizona is helping an Oregon tribe obtain a bank loan to build a casino.
The Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians plans to open the casino in Florence sometime this summer. The tribe survived a series of legal challenges from the state and local residents.
Loan terms were not disclosed but are believed to be lower than market rate.
