About 2.1 million cans of Pepsi promoting the Oneida Nation's casino expansion in New York have been distributed to area markets.
The cans feature an image of the expansion that is set to open this fall. They are available in Syracuse, Utica, Albany, Binghamton and the Plattsburgh area, where most of the casino customers live.
The tribe is undertaking a $308 million expansion of its casino resort. The project will nearly triple the square footage of the facility.
