February was a good month for Connecticut's two tribes, which reported record slot machine revenues.
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation increased its slot take by 15 percent last month, compared to February 2003. The Mohegan Tribe reported a 22.3 percent increase.
The tribes are neck and neck in competition for the gaming market. Both are required to share 25 percent of slot machine revenues with the state.
