“We are in this together. We have to continue supporting each other and encouraging our loved ones to get vaccinated and get a booster shot. If you look at the data, those who are fully vaccinated have a significantly lesser chance of getting severely sick or hospitalized than those who are not vaccinated. The COVID-19 vaccines are highly effective and they are saving lives. Please continue to wear two masks in public, stay home as much as possible, limit travel, and keep praying,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
Health care facilities on the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your health care provider and schedule an appointment.
“If you are experiencing symptoms such as a sore throat, fever, body aches, congestion, or other COVID-19 related symptoms, please remain at home and make a plan to get tested. It takes all of us working together and doing our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Please be safe, take precautions, and pray for our people,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
